Ami egy.., hisz nem akarunk valamivé válni. A fény nem bírja sötétséget a sötétség a fényt. A Szeret és a Fény ugyan átfog mindent, de mégis..., egyfajta ellenszenv ( αντιπάθεια ) mozgatja a világot.

Nincs közük egymáshoz..., s mégis együtt adják a világ "szövetét"..., s a mintát, - ez fontos, a "Fény" adja.

Edith Stein az első foknak ezt a "démonizálódást" jelöli meg..., úgy vélem Ő is erre céloz, megismerni a sötétséget, s érezni, mi nem ide tartozunk. ( S lesznek akik mégis ebben érzik majd jól magukat. Őket nevezik a "gnosztikusok" a démonok gyermekeinek, ez az ő világuk, ide is tartoznak. )

„Az én országom nem ebből a világból való." ( Jn 18,36 ) Ἡ βασιλεία ἡ ἐμὴ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου τούτου ·

"Az első fok a lelket saját gyógyulása érdekében előbb beteggé teszi.

Ez a betegség azonban nem halálos, inkább Isten dicsőségét szolgálja, mert ebben a betegségben Isten azt akarja, hogy a lélek meghaljon a bűnnek és mindannak, ami nem Isten... ( Edith Stein, A kereszt tudománya, 117 )

Lényegében egy paradoxonnal állunk szemben.

"Állandó konfliktusba zárva":

Some philosophers have said that everything is God, that the world is God, or that the development of the world is the development of God (Pantheism). Others have said that the world is a necessary emanation arising from God and returning to him.
